Abstract This article presents an online application developed to improve vocabulary learning through games, quizzes and interaction with a chatbot. The was tested experimentally on sample of twenty proficiency-level students divided into two groups English in stages. In the first stage, group control group, who studied section from book. second experimental which using proposed application. were reversed asked learn unit. According experiment results, particular improved students' performance, as, both tests, outperformed those group. addition, analysis questionnaire answered by all confirmed that most prefer this over traditional methods as they consider it quite enjoyable easy while agreeing helped them vocabulary. is available website: http://users.sch.gr/polizipan .
